Stonebridge Tax Advisors, LLC ("Stonebridge", "we", "us", or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect personal information related to our websites, forms, assessments, communications, events, and any other services that link to this Privacy Policy (the "Services"). By using the Services, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

1) Who We Are

Stonebridge provides education and coordination related to tax strategies. We are not a law firm, CPA firm, enrolled agent practice, broker-dealer, or investment adviser. In some engagements we act as a business or controller of personal information. In other engagements we act as a service provider or processor to a client, professional firm, broker-dealer, custodian, or other party. When we act as a service provider or processor, our processing is governed by our agreement with that party, and this Privacy Policy may not apply.

2) Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to personal information we process about consumers, prospects, clients, referral partners, professional firms, applicants, and site visitors. It does not apply to information that is de-identified, aggregated, publicly available, or otherwise excluded by applicable laws.

3) Notice at Collection and Categories of Information

We collect the categories of information listed below. We may collect these directly from you, automatically from your device, from service providers and partners, or from publicly available sources.

  • Identifiers and contact data: name, alias, email, phone, mailing address, IP address, device identifiers, account identifiers, cookie IDs.
  • Demographic data: general age range, general location.
  • Professional and education data: employer, role, licenses or credentials you choose to provide.
  • Commercial and financial data: income range you disclose, entity type, investment accreditation status you disclose, purchase or transaction history related to the Services, interest in strategies, consultation history.
  • User submissions and documents: assessment responses, intake forms, uploaded files, statements, declarations, limited power of attorney documents you provide, and communications.
  • Sensitive personal information: government identification, tax information, bank details for billing or disbursement, accreditation documentation. We ask that you do not upload full Social Security Numbers, full tax returns, protected health information, or payment card primary account numbers through unapproved channels. If sensitive data is required, we will provide a designated secure portal.
  • Internet and technical data: browser type, device type, operating system, language, referral URLs, pages viewed, session duration, link clicks, scroll depth, time on page, approximate geolocation derived from IP.
  • Audio, visual, and communications data: call recordings, voicemails, video meetings, and chat transcripts where permitted by law and with required notice or consent.
  • Inferences: profile segments or likelihood scores derived from the above to personalize content, subject to your rights.

4) Sources of Information

  • You directly, through forms, calls, emails, SMS, and chat.
  • Automated collection through cookies, pixels, SDKs, and similar technologies.
  • Service providers and partners that support identity verification, accreditation, communications, analytics, advertising measurement, hosting, fraud prevention, payment processing, and compliance.
  • Public sources, referrals, and professional directories.

5) Purposes of Use

We use personal information to:

  • Provide, operate, maintain, and secure the Services.
  • Evaluate eligibility for strategies and facilitate professional coordination.
  • Communicate by email, phone, or text consistent with your consent and applicable law.
  • Personalize content, experiences, and onboarding.
  • Conduct identity, accreditation, and compliance checks through partners where applicable.
  • Process payments, disbursements, invoices, and refunds.
  • Perform analytics, attribution, audience measurement, and performance reporting.
  • Detect, investigate, prevent, and respond to fraud, abuse, and security incidents.
  • Enforce terms, protect our rights and those of others, and comply with law.
  • Maintain business and accounting records.

6) Legal Bases for Processing for EEA, UK, and Switzerland

Where required, we rely on the following legal bases: consent, performance of a contract or steps prior to entering into a contract, compliance with legal obligations, and our legitimate interests in providing and improving the Services, securing the Services, and communicating with you.

7) Disclosures of Information

We do not sell personal information for money. We may disclose personal information as follows:

  • Service providers and contractors that host, secure, support, analyze, message, record, store, and process data on our behalf.
  • Professional firms and regulated parties that may be involved in your engagement, such as independent appraisers, attorneys, CPAs, broker-dealers, custodians, trustees, or tax advisors, with your knowledge and consent.
  • Affiliates and referral partners where you engage an offering or request an introduction.
  • Advertising and analytics partners to measure and improve campaigns. Under some state laws, this may be considered a "share" for targeted advertising.
  • Authorities and legal recipients when required by law, subpoena, court order, or to protect rights, safety, or property.
  • Business transfers in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets.

We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of consumers under 16.

8) Targeted Advertising and Your Choices

We may use cookies and pixels to perform cross-context behavioral advertising. You can opt out by:

  • Using the "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" link in our footer, which routes to our preference center.
  • Enabling a supported Global Privacy Control signal in your browser. Where required, we honor GPC as an opt out of sharing or targeted advertising.

We use required, functional, analytics, and advertising cookies. You can control cookies in our preferences center and in your browser. Blocking cookies may impact site functionality.

10) Retention

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described and to comply with legal, accounting, and reporting obligations. Typical periods are:

  • Marketing and site analytics data: up to 24 months.
  • Client files and engagement records: at least 7 years after last activity.
  • Call recordings and communications logs: 12 to 24 months.
  • Legal and dispute records: until resolution plus applicable limitation periods.

11) Security

We maintain technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information. Measures include encryption in transit, access controls, least-privilege, multi-factor authentication for administrative access, vendor diligence, logging, and periodic reviews. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure. You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials and for using only our designated secure upload portals for sensitive data.

12) Your Privacy Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to:

  • Access, correct, or delete personal information.
  • Obtain a portable copy of certain information.
  • Opt out of targeted advertising, sale, or certain profiling.
  • Limit the use and disclosure of sensitive personal information.
  • Appeal a decision if we decline your request.

Submit requests by emailing privacy@stonebridgetaxadvisors.com with "Privacy Request" in the subject line. We will verify identity through reasonable means, which may include matching information, signed declarations, or government ID review through a secure portal. You may use an authorized agent where permitted, subject to verification. If you are a California resident, you also have rights under the CCPA as amended by CPRA. If you are a Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, or Utah resident, you also have rights under your state privacy law.

13) Children

The Services are not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can delete it.

14) International Transfers

If you access the Services from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States. Where required, we use appropriate transfer mechanisms such as Standard Contractual Clauses.

15) Do Not Track

Some browsers offer Do Not Track signals. We currently do not respond to Do Not Track. We do respond to Global Privacy Control where legally required.

16) Third-Party Links and Services

The Services may link to third-party websites, applications, or services. We are not responsible for their privacy practices. Review their policies before providing information.

17) Changes to this Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy. The Last updated date shows when changes were posted. Your continued use of the Services after changes means you accept the updated Policy.

Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Services provided by Stonebridge Tax Advisors, LLC. By accessing or using the Services, you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, our Important Disclosures, and our TCPA and A2P Messaging Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

1) Relationship and Services

Stonebridge provides educational content and coordination related to tax strategies. We do not provide tax, legal, accounting, valuation, appraisal, or investment advice. We are not your fiduciary. You must engage your own qualified professionals to review and implement any strategy. No client, advisory, or fiduciary relationship is formed by viewing content, using tools, submitting forms, or scheduling calls. Any paid engagement requires a separate written agreement executed by you and Stonebridge.

2) Eligibility and Accounts

You represent that you are at least 18 years old and have authority to accept these Terms. You will maintain accurate account information, keep credentials confidential, and notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.

3) User Content and License

You may submit information, documents, or other materials ("User Content"). You grant Stonebridge a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use User Content solely to operate, provide, and improve the Services and to comply with legal obligations. You represent that you have all rights to provide User Content and that it is accurate and lawful.

4) Sensitive Data Handling

Do not upload full Social Security Numbers, full tax returns, payment card primary account numbers, or protected health information through non-secure channels. If sensitive data is necessary, use our designated secure portal or secure methods we provide.

5) Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to: violate laws, infringe rights, reverse engineer or scrape the Services, introduce malware, bypass security controls, or interfere with operation. We may suspend or terminate access for violations.

6) Tools, Calculators, and Estimates

Any outputs, calculators, or estimates are educational and for informational use only. Outputs may omit or simplify factors such as state and local rules, AMT, NIIT, QBI, phase-outs, carryovers, timing, and documentation requirements. Do not rely on outputs to file returns, determine appraised values, or make investment decisions.

7) Communications, E-Sign, and Recording Consent

You consent to receive communications electronically and to the use of electronic signatures. Where allowed by law and with required notice or consent, we may record or monitor calls, video meetings, and messages for quality and compliance. You can withdraw recording consent by notifying us and discontinuing Services that require recording.

8) Third-Party Services and Professionals

The Services may reference or integrate with third-party services and professional firms. Stonebridge is not responsible for third-party services or advice. Your relationship with any third-party is between you and that party. Offering documents, engagement letters, and professional standards control.

9) Fees, Payments, Refunds

If you purchase Services, you agree to pay the posted or quoted fees and applicable taxes. Payments may be processed by third-party processors subject to their terms. Except as stated in an applicable agreement, fees are non-refundable. We may suspend or terminate Services for unpaid amounts.

10) Intellectual Property

The Services, content, design, and trademarks are owned by Stonebridge or its licensors. You may use the Services for lawful, internal purposes only. No rights are granted except as expressly stated.

11) Beta Features and AI

We may offer beta features or AI-assisted tools. Beta and AI features are provided as is, may be inaccurate or incomplete, and may be modified or discontinued at any time. Do not rely on outputs without independent verification.

12) Disclaimers

The Services are provided as is and as available, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Stonebridge does not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that outcomes or savings will occur.

13) No Guarantee of Results

Any examples of potential savings or outcomes are illustrative only. Individual results vary based on facts and law. Past performance does not guarantee future results.

14) Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Stonebridge and its owners, officers, employees, contractors, and affiliates are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, goodwill, or data, arising from or related to the Services. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of one hundred dollars (USD 100) or the amount you paid to Stonebridge for the Services during the twelve months before the claim.

15) Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Stonebridge and its affiliates from claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising out of your use of the Services, your User Content, your violation of these Terms or law, or your interaction with third parties.

16) Export Controls and Sanctions

You represent that you are not located in a restricted jurisdiction and are not a prohibited party under U.S. export or sanctions laws. You will not use the Services in violation of such laws.

17) Arbitration, Class Action Waiver, and Jury Waiver

Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services will be resolved by binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Commercial Arbitration Rules. The seat and venue of arbitration will be Palm Beach County, Florida. You and Stonebridge agree to arbitrate on an individual basis only. Class actions, class arbitrations, private attorney general actions, and representative proceedings are not permitted. You and Stonebridge waive the right to a jury trial. Either party may seek relief in small claims court for qualifying claims.

18) Governing Law and Venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict of laws rules. Subject to the arbitration clause, the exclusive venue for permitted court proceedings is state or federal courts located in Palm Beach County, Florida.

19) Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services at any time for any reason or no reason. You may stop using the Services at any time. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive.

20) Changes

We may modify the Services or these Terms. The Last updated date indicates when changes were posted. Your continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

21) Miscellaneous

These Terms are the entire agreement between you and Stonebridge regarding the Services. If any provision is held unenforceable, the remainder will remain in effect. We may assign these Terms. You may not assign without our prior written consent. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver.

All content, communications, calculators, assessments, examples, and materials are for educational purposes only. Nothing is tax, legal, accounting, valuation, appraisal, or investment advice. You must consult your own qualified professionals.

2) IRS Circular 230 Disclosure

Any United States federal tax advice contained in our content or communications is not intended or written to be used, and cannot be used, for the purpose of avoiding penalties under the Internal Revenue Code or promoting, marketing, or recommending to another party any transaction or matter addressed herein.

7) Appraisals and Valuations

Stonebridge does not perform appraisals, does not issue valuation reports, and does not determine fair market values. Any valuation must be issued by an independent qualified appraiser engaged by you or by an offering sponsor, consistent with applicable law and professional standards.

8) Calculators and Examples

Calculators, examples, and case studies are illustrative. They simplify complex rules and may omit significant factors such as phase-outs, carryovers, state rules, and timing. Do not rely on these tools for tax return preparation or investment decisions.

9) No Client Relationship

No client relationship is created by using our website, downloading materials, completing forms, or scheduling calls. A client relationship requires a written engagement agreement executed by both parties.

TCPA and A2P Messaging Terms

By providing your phone number and submitting any form on this website, you consent to receive communications from Stonebridge Tax Advisors at the number provided. Communications may include calls, text messages, and prerecorded or artificial voice messages, which may be sent using an automatic telephone dialing system. Consent is not a condition of purchase.

1) Program Description and Frequency

We may send transactional, account, appointment, reminder, onboarding, and informational messages, as well as promotional messages where permitted by your consent and applicable law. Message frequency varies based on your interaction with us.

2) Costs

Message and data rates may apply. Your carrier's rates apply to your messages and our replies.

3) Opt Out

You can unsubscribe at any time by replying STOP to any text message. You can also email privacy@stonebridgetaxadvisors.com with the subject "SMS Opt Out". After your STOP request, you may receive a final message confirming the opt out.

4) Help

5) Consent Records and Changes to Numbers

We maintain records of consent and opt-out status as required by law and carrier rules. If you change, transfer, or deactivate your phone number, you agree to notify us promptly to prevent messages intended for you from being sent to a new subscriber.

6) Supported Carriers and Delivery

Message delivery may be subject to your carrier and network conditions. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. We may modify or suspend messaging to comply with A2P 10DLC rules, The Campaign Registry requirements, and carrier policies.

7) Privacy

8) Arbitration and Class Action Waiver

Any dispute related to messaging is subject to the arbitration, class action waiver, and jury waiver in our Terms of Service.
